Travel information

Cranbrook is located just off the A229 about seventeen miles east of Tunbridge Wells in the South-East corner of England. Sissinghurst is about two miles to the north-east, a short drive away or a very pleasant walk along country paths for the more intredpid!

International travellers should fly to Gatwick or Heathrow Airports. Private pilots may choose to land (on grass) at Headcorn (Lashenden) Aerodrome about four miles from Cranbrook.

Some Eurostar trains still stop at Ashford International, about ten miles from Cranbrook.

There is plenty of free parking in the town centre car parks. Parking on the High Street is limited to one hour and parking wardens are increasingly active!

Please park with consideration for others. In most car-parks, including the large one attached to The Co-Op, several spaces are marked for use by the disabled or parents with toddlers.

If you are unlucky enough to get a parking ticket, you can pay the penalty charge online at secure.tunbridgewells.gov.uk or contact the office by telephone on +44 (0)1892 554091.
